The Base Camp facility, once a private home, offers two private bedrooms/baths, one with a king-size bed, one with a double. Each has high-speed internet. A large yard provides room to practice casting a fishing line. Meals are tailored to the tastes of guests. The policy is to take only one group at a time and tailor the services.

Your host and guide, Dave Menicucci, is a registered NM guide with over a half century ofoutdoor experience in the nearby mountains, including the Valles Caldera National Preserve (see Fishing) He is also an accomplished cook.

At Dinegar Base Camp, guests can enjoy the many and varied resources in the area, including the Valles Caldera National Preserve, Bandelier National Monument, tourist sites in the Atomic City of Los Alamos. See local recreation.

When space is available, the Base Camp can be booked as a bed and breakfast accommodation only. There is a two-night minimum for most stays.
